Built for the desert, the 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor is fully redesigned and tougher than ever. Developed in tandem with the new 2021 Ford F-150, the new Ford Raptor is more powerful, more capable and more modern with advanced technology and new convenience features. Book your spot in Joshua Tree now, the Raptor is coming this summer.
Inspired by the F-22 Raptor fighter jet, the 2021 F-150 Raptor gets an aggressive new exterior with a blacked-out grille, fender-to-fender headlights and a wider stance. The new Raptor will come with 35-inch tires but, for the first time, you will be able to upgrade to 37-inch tires, raising ground clearance from 12" to 13.1". Functional side vents, wide front fenders and skid plate, plus steel bumpers all-around add to the rugged look while also enhancing performance. At the rear, similar blacked-out taillights and an optional tailgate badge complete the Baja-style look.
The Raptor was introduced in 2009, and 2021 marks the evolution to the 3rd generation. In keeping with its original purpose as an off-road desert beast, the new Raptor is made for speed, jumps, and maneuvering on sand. Catch some air with the Raptors all-new, five-link rear suspension designed specifically for the 2021 Raptor featuring 24" coil springs, the longest in its class*. Then land with confidence knowing the new Raptor's next-gen FOX™ Shocks with Live Valve™ tech are built to withstand heat and react quickly to terrain changes. Pair with the available 37-inch off-road tires to maximize traction and handling as you roar around the desert at high speeds.
The Raptor is not meant to blend into its surroundings, and its first-in-class active valve dual exhaust ensures you'll be heard from miles around. Check out this teaser to experience the performance up close.
While you may use the Raptor to tackle the wilderness, that doesn't mean you have to struggle. The 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor has much the same cabin and technology as the new 2021 Ford F-150 SuperCrew. Keep track of your off-road stats, navigation and terrain management with a standard 12-inch digital gauge cluster. Plus, utilize Ford's latest infotainment, SYNC® 4, on another 12-inch center touchscreen, with your music pumping out of the available 18-speaker B&O Unleashed sound system. Over-the-air updates ensure you always have the latest technology and you can control your Raptor remotely with the FordPass app. The 2021 Ford Raptor features seven drive modes in the Terrain Management System, including Slippery, Off-Road, Baja and Rock Crawl. The all-new interior boasts more premium materials and finishes, a new steering wheel, bolsters to keep you in your seat, and aluminum or carbon fiber trim packages.
New for 2021, the Raptor features a Trail 1-Pedal Drive that allows you to maneuver over the most extreme obstacles with just one pedal. It acts as an off-road cruise control, so you don't need to manually manage the throttle, brakes and gas at the same time.
Other great features for 2021 include the Pro-Power Onboard generator that debuted with the new 2021 F-150, a lockable cargo box under the rear seats, and Ford Co-Pilot 360 2.0 which features advanced safety tech and driver assist features including parking assist and an available 360-degree camera. The 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor now tows up to 8,200 lbs with a max payload of 1,400 lbs.
The new 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor is bigger, badder and more capable with advanced technology and the latest in off-road innovation. Now you can go farther and harder than ever before. The 2021 Ford Raptor is set to arrive late summer 2021.
