Exciting Updates for the New Mustang Mach-E

The highly anticipated 2021 Mustang Mach-E all-electric vehicle just keeps getting better, and it hasn't even hit the streets yet. Not only did Ford upgrade the estimated horsepower and torque*, but you can now preconfigure your Mach-E from the comfort of your own home and listen to music inspired by the new Mustang.

While waiting patiently for the new Mustang Mach-E to arrive, why not customize your new car to just the way you like to drive? Use Remote Vehicle Setup via the FordPass App or on Ford Owner Web and set up your driver profile and custom settings so your vehicle arrives tailored just for you. With Remote Vehicle Setup, you can set favorite destinations into the navigation, find charging stations near you and near where you are going, customize climate control preferences and even input your commuter schedules, right now! Create your driver profile to live in the Cloud until your customized Mach-E arrives later this year.

Your driver settings will be sent to SYNC® 4A, which uses machine learning to learn your personal driving preferences quickly, continuing to get better over time. With over-the-air updates, Ford will be rolling out more customization options, including pre-setting radio stations, regularly. Meaning your new Mustang Mach-E will always have the latest technology available.

In other Mustang Mach-E news, DJ Matthew Dear (of Ghostly International) created a new dance track from the Mach-E's electronic sounds. Since the Mach-E doesn't use gas or combustion, the electric engine runs silently. Ford created electronic oscillations to play when the Mach-E is in motion, both to alert pedestrians to an oncoming car and to give the driver (and passengers) that feeling of driving a powerful Mustang. The Mustang name has been synonymous with music over its storied history, and the Mach-E is no different. Listen to Dear's new song and watch a documentary on the making of "New Breed (The Mustang Mach-E Remix)". You can also listen to all of the in-built Mustang Mach-E sound clips.

The 2021 Mustang Mach-E is set to get a 335-mile electric range**, go 0-60 in about 3.5 seconds†, can charge 61 miles in as little as 10 minutes***, and has up to 346-horsepower and 428 lb-ft torque*, all with zero emissions. You'll also get innovative technological features including SYNC's 15.5-inch touchscreen and a navigation system that will get you to the most convenient and efficient charging stations. You'll look and feel like you're driving in a Mustang because you will be. Albeit one with more rear passenger seating and extra storage in the front trunk.
