The all-electric Ford Mustang Mach-E is getting even more powerful. The 2021 Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition will be hitting the streets later in 2021 but will drive faster, have more oomph and feature sportier components and styling. You can still reserve the Mustang Mach-E GT, and orders for the Mach-E GT Performance Edition package will open to those with reservations beginning in spring 2021.
Adding the Performance Edition package to your 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT will add 34 lb-ft of torque to the already impressive 600 lb-ft of torque and 480 horsepower of the Mach-E GT. The Mach-E GT gets 134 more horsepower more than the next level Mustang Mach-E. You will also be able to go 0-60 in a mere 3.5 seconds in the Mach-E GT Performance Edition with an EV range of over 230 miles*. Without the Performance Edition package, the Mustang Mach-E GT can go over 250 miles in one charge.
The Performance Edition package also adds 19-inch front brakes with red Brembo® calipers, 20-inch Ebony Black pockets and 245/45R20 Pirelli summer tires paired with MagenRide® damping to improve handling. Sporty design features include exclusive Performance Edition GT badging, Ford Performance seats with Performance Gray ActiveX material and metallic stitching, and an aluminum instrument panel. The "standard" Mustang Mach-E GT gets 20-inch black wheels, GT badging and all-season rubber tires.
The Ford Mustang Mach-E GT also gets more aggressive exterior styling including a carbonized gray grille and a choice of signature Mustang exterior paint colors, including Cyber Orange and Dark Gray Matter.
With or without the Performance Edition package, the new Mustang Mach-E GT offers even quicker acceleration and more power than the original Mach-E. The Mach-E may be an electric SUV, but it is still all Mustang. Expect Ford to continue pushing the limits of electric and sports car performance across the Mustang GT and Mustang Mach-E GT lineups.
